  • A permanent stage/pavilion for community and school performances
  • An aquatic center that will serve the schools and the community in the park
  • A jogging path around the park for the schools and the community
  • Expanded green field near Spreckels Elementary

This is a joint use project between San Diego Unified and the City of San Diego. It is in the Mayor’s plan and the Board of Education’s plan for 30 additional joint use projects across the city in the next few years.

The Imagine UC 2020 project plan vote is scheduled to take place at the Standley Park Recreation Council Meeting on Thursday, July 28 at 7 PM at Standley Park Recreation Center, 3585 Governor Drive.

All University City residents are invited to this meeting for community input on these projects.
