It’s all happening in University City this month. We can’t possibly include everything but here are a few of the public events, meetings, and calendar updates that are scheduled for February 2020 in University City. Plan ahead to spend time with friends and neighbors in University City.

• PEOPLE FOR A CLEAN UC, Sunday, February 9, 7:30-9:00 AM. Cleanup volunteers meet at Starbucks, 3202 Governor Drive, supplies provided
• SWANSON POOL Spring Opening, Monday, February 10, 10:30 AM, 3585 Governor Drive
• UC PLANNING GROUP (UCPG), Tuesday, February 11, 6:00 PM, 10300 Campus Point Drive (same building as Green Acre Restaurant)
• UCCA (University City Community Association) MEETING, Wednesday, February 12, 6:00 PM, UC Library, 4155 Governor Drive. Networking begins at 5:30. Special Guests include candidates Sam Benajab, Ryan Cunningham and Sabrina Bazzo
• VALENTINE’S DAY, Friday, February 14; Schools closed February 14 and 17
• PRESIDENTS’S DAY, Monday, February 17; Schools closed February 14 and 17
• February’s meeting cancelled. CPUS will next meeting on March 17, same time, same location. UNIVERSITY CITY COMMUNITY PLAN UPDATE COMMITTEE (CPUS), Tuesday, February 18, 6:00 PM, University City High School, 6949 Genesee Ave.
• UC CELEBRATION COMMITTEE, 4th of July event planning, Wednesday, February 19, 7:00 PM, Standley Park Recreation Center, 3585 Governor Drive
• SIGHTS AND SOUNDS SHOWCASE, Friday, February 21, 6:00 PM, Lawrence Family JCC, 4126 Executive Drive
• UC PARKS COUNCIL (501c3), Thursday, February 27, 6:00 PM, Standley Park Recreation Center, 3585 Governor Drive
• STANDLEY PARK COMMUNITY RECREATION GROUP (Advisory Group), Thursday, February 27, 7:00 PM, Standley Park Recreation Center, 3585 Governor Drive
