Share

From the Fire Safe Council of San Diego County: Defensible space is the buffer you create between a building on your property and the grass, trees, shrubs, or any wildland area that surround it. If you are over 65 and physically and financially unable to maintain the state-mandated 100’ of defensible space around your home, the Defensible Space Assistance Program (DSAP) may be able to help. For more information and to sign up, call the Fire Safe Council of San Diego County at 619-562-0096 or visit firesafesdcounty.org/dsap/
