CBS8 Crime FightersIt’s no secret that some neighborhoods in San Diego County have more crime than others.

The CBS News 8 Crimefighters crunched the numbers, zip code by zip code, to find out which local neighborhoods have the most overall crime.

We looked at all crimes combined over the past six months from law enforcement agencies across San Diego County, as reported to SANDAG.

It turns out zip code 92101, downtown San Diego, is at the top of the crime list with 3,893 crimes logged over the past 180 days.

Editor’s note: Spoiler alert! According to CBS8, University City, 92122, had fewer reported crimes than any other community in Northern Division.
