The City of San Diego Development Services Department (DSD) has recently updated its Permits, Approvals & Inspections process to make it easier for residents to find permitting information by using an interactive Permit Finder Map.
Please note: The Permit Finder Map works better with a conventional laptop or computer than it does with a mobile device.
When accessing the Use Interactive Map to Find Permit Info link, users can navigate to a community location and then Select a Parcel. By selecting a parcel, users will see a report of all approvals associated with the parcel including projects for remodels, additions, ADUs and garage conversions.
Development Services also provides information about how to Apply for a Permit, Schedule an Appointment, Schedule an Inspection, Building & Land Use Enforcement Cases, in addition to the Interactive Map to Find Permit Information. Visit the DSD site at: sandiego.gov/development-services
