  • Trash Tax City Council Hearing is Monday, June 9, 2025, 2 PM
  • Only formal written protests will be considered under the City’s Proposition 218 protest tabulating procedures
  • Protests may be delivered in person at the Office of the City Clerk reception counter

The City Council will hear and consider oral testimony and written materials submitted regarding the proposed fee at the hearing. Only valid written protests will be considered under the City’s Proposition 218 protest tabulating procedures.

Protests must be received by the City Clerk:

  • by mail or in person, at the Office of the City Clerk, 202 C St., MS 2T, San Diego, CA 92101, by 2 p.m. on June 9, 2025;
  • or they may be submitted to the City Clerk, in person, at the June 9, 2025 City Council meeting, beginning at 2 p.m., prior to the close of the public input portion of the public hearing.
