Trash Talk Revealed: Proposed Services and Fees in Round 3 of Public Meetings and Open Houses

From the City of San Diego in an email dates 2/20/2025: The City of San Diego Cost-of-Service Study (Trash Study) is a public process that evaluates services and potential new fees for City-provided residential trash, recycling, and organic waste collection services.

Join the City of San Diego Trash Study team for its third round of Open Houses. At these drop-in events, residents and homeowners can learn about the fee proposal and what the team heard from more than 9,600 residents.

Open House events will be held in each Council District and online. Residents may attend the session most convenient to them.

6. March 25 – Council District 7 Open House: 5:30-7 p.m. at the Linda Vista Library, 2160 Ulric St, San Diego, CA 92111
7. April 1 – Council District 4 Open House: 5:30-7 p.m. at the Skyline Paradise Hills Library, 7900 Paradise Valley Road, San Diego, CA 92139
