Thanks so our presenter – Retired Fire Chief Bill Beck – and to our sponsors including the University City Fire Safe Council, the University City Community Association, the San Diego Regional Fire Foundation, the San Diego County Fire Safe Council, and California Coast Credit Union.

UCCA’s Senior Watch and the UC Fire Safe Council invite you to join us for an informative presentation by retired New York Fire Chief William Beck.

Learn about Fire Safety at Home including: common causes of home fires; simple steps to prevent them; what to do if a fire starts; and special fire safety considerations for older adults.

  • The meet-up is Saturday, November 15, at 2 PM, at Cal Coast Credit Union, 3202 Governor Dr, Ste 102. This event is free and refreshments will be served.
  • Attendees may enter a free drawing for their choice of a 10-year smoke detector, a fire blanket, or a carbon monoxide alarm; while supplies last.

This presentation is made possible, in part, by a generous grant from the San Diego Regional Fire Foundation and the Fire Safe Council of San Diego County.
