April 17 – 20, 2026: CalTrans announces Southbound Full Freeway Closure from the I-5/I-805 Split to Governor Drive. Caltrans I-805 will close all lanes of southbound Interstate 805 (I-805) from the Interstate 5 (I-5)/I-805 split to Governor Drive from Friday, April 17 at 9 p.m. to Monday, April 20 at 5 a.m. for culvert replacement underneath the freeway just south of Nobel Drive. April 24 – 27, 2026: CalTrans announces Northbound Full Freeway Closure from SR-52 to Miramar Road/La Jolla Village Drive. CalTrans 1-805 will close all lanes of northbound Interstate 805 (I-805) from State Route (SR-52) to Miramar Road Friday, April 24 at 9 p.m. to Monday, April 27 at 5 a.m. for culvert replacement underneath the freeway just south of Nobel Drive.
