From UC Bike Bus: On Sunday, Nov 8, a group of University City families will ride bikes along Governor Drive. We start at 3 pm at the west end of Governor and ride east to Standley Park and we hope you can join us.
Expect a lot of kids on bikes on Governor and the nearby side streets from about 3 pm on Sunday afternoon. If you’re driving through then, please:
- Slow down and give riders plenty of room when passing
- Watch for kids at intersections and driveways, especially near Standley Park
- Be patient if the group is crossing; adult ride leaders will move everyone through as quickly as they can
Many riders are young and still learning, so a few extra seconds of patience goes a long way.
If your family wants to join, everyone is welcome and helmets are required. Details and RSVP at ucbikebus.com/responsible-repaving
If you are in the area of Governor Drive, please give us a friendly wave. Thanks for looking out for the kids!
