2023 UCCA Election Notice: UCCA will meet in-person at the Community Library, 4155 Governor Drive, on Wednesday, November 8. This is the UCCA Officer Election meeting. This is a public meeting and all are welcome. Those who wish to vote in the UCCA Officer Election must be dues-paying UCCA members who hold a current (2023) membership or who have paid their 2024 membership dues. 

Meet & greet with the UCCA Candidates, network with neighbors, and vote beginning at 5 p.m. The general meeting is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. We’ll have an in-person update with the Pure Water construction team at 6 p.m. and an update on the Library Master Plan at 6:30 p.m. Please refer to the Election Notice and the Candidate Statements in November newsletter for more details.

Four people have volunteered to run for UCCA election. There is one candidate for each office. The four candidates introduced themselves at the October 11 UCCA meeting and their candidate statements are published in the November print newsletter and available at: https://www.universitycitynews.org/ucca-newsletter-archives/

2023 UCCA Election Notice: The UCCA officer election will take place at the November 8, 2023, UCCA meeting. The election meeting will be in-person at the University Community Library, 4155 Governor Drive. UCCA members may vote from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

The University City Community Association (UCCA) will hold its election for officers this fall. Elections for officers occur every two years. The elected officers of UCCA are:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary

Elected officers must be University City residents and are elected for a two-year term; the President may not serve more than two consecutive terms. The UCCA officer election will take place at the November 8, 2023, UCCA meeting. The election meeting will be in-person at the University Community Library on Governor Drive. UCCA members may vote from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Self-nominations are welcome. All nominees for officer positions must be UCCA members and have attended a minimum of two regular meetings in the 12 months preceding the time of nomination. No nomination shall be made unless the proposed candidate has consented to serve if elected.
