Get Ready to Vote! Early Voting Begins May 9 for the June 7 Primary Election

Share

Every active registered voter in San Diego will automatically receive a ballot in the mail nearly a month before Election Day. Ballots start going out in the US Mail the week of May 9 for the June 7, 2022, Primary Election. Under the Voter’s Choice Act (VCA), voters choose when, where and how to vote. Early voting begins May 9 for the June Primary Election.

To make sure you’re ready to vote, here are some election tips from UCCA, the League of Women Voters, and the San Diego Registrar of Voters:

Elections are no longer a one-day event and there is no need to wait until Election Day to vote. Voters can return their ballot by US Mail, at a secure Ballot Drop Off Location, or at a Vote Center. For more information and to check your voter registration status, visit the Registrar of Voters at: https://www.sdvote.com/
