⚠️ Update 09/15/2025: New Traffic Control Setup for Pure Water Morena Northern Pipelines and Tunnels at Nobel Drive and Genesee Avenue:
- Beginning Monday, September 15, the contractor will mobilize a continuous traffic control setup to continue work along Nobel Drive through October 2025.
- The eastbound lane along Nobel Drive from Genesee Avenue to Lombard Place will be closed to traffic.
- Eastbound traffic will be detoured north on Genesee Avenue, east on La Jolla Village Drive and south on Towne Center Drive to continue eastbound along Nobel Drive.
- Avoid the area if possible and follow all posted traffic detour signs.
Note: The Pure Water team will present updated information at UCCA’s zoom meeting on Tuesday.
