Temporary Flight Restrictions for 2025 Air Show September 24 through 28:
- The FAA has issued Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFR) for the MCAS Miramar Airshow, San Diego, CA, September 24-28, 2025.
- This is a major outdoor public event, with a high concentration of fast moving and high-performance aircraft.
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will, in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations 91.145, issue TFR.
- Access to this airspace will be limited to those pre-authorized by MCAS Miramar airshow participants. Positive identification and communications with Air Traffic Control (ATC) are required.
- The FAA has worked closely with the United States Marine Corps to minimize the impact of this TFR on Southern California aviators.
- Compliance with these rules will ensure the safety of the airshow, provide reasonable access to airspace for all pilots, and greatly reduce TFR violations.
