Who’s your Woman of the Year? The office of Senator Brian W. Jones, Senate District 40, is seeking nominations for “Woman of the Year” 2026. Do you know a remarkable woman who deserves recognition for her contributions our community? State Senator Brian Jones invites you to submit a nomination for the “Senate District 40 Woman of the Year”.
The woman selected from District 40 will be invited to the Capitol and honored for her accomplishments. She will be formally recognized as Woman of the Year in a ceremony on the floor of the Senate.

- Nominees must be residents or own a business within California’s 40th State Senate District.
- All submissions will need to be received no later than Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
- Once submissions are received, a selection committee of past honorees will meet to review nominations and select the Senate District 40 Woman of the Year.
