The minutes aren’t ready for review this month (I had IT problems). Two items were deferred from the February 10 agenda and moved to March 10: The Irvine Co. housing proposal and the Torrey Pines Glider Port. Irvine is not ready, and I’m waiting on some responses from the Mayor’s office on questions I sent them to prepare for the Glider Port item.
Here are the agenda highlights for this month
- Item 6: After the Chair’s Report and Public Comment, we’ll have candidate announcements for the upcoming March 10 elections. A list of those seats is included in the agenda.
- Item 7: Pure Water presentation. A schedule for remaining work should be given tonight.
- Item 8: We’ll have reports from elected and community officials.
- Item 9 & 10: We have two cabinet installations in the public right of way for Charter Communications. Presentations for both are attached for your review.
- Item 11: This item is presented by the San Diego Housing Commission regarding the Commission’s FY 2027 housing budget. A reference for this item may be found here: https://engagesdhc.org/fy27ahfplan
- Item 12: A Seat at the Table is a proposal that would allocate more time to community groups, including CPGs, to comment on proposals before decision making bodies such as the Planning Commission, City Council, and its subcommittees. If a CPG wants to speak for more than the minimal amount of time allotted per speaker, it is necessary to bring additional people in order to aggregate enough time.
