Saturday, May 9: Dumpster Day, District 6:

Time for some spring cleaning? 🌷 Join our office for a FREE Dumpster Day on Saturday, May 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in partnership with EDCO and Mira Mesa High School. Since 2023, this program has helped remove over 430 tons of trash across District 6, helping keep our neighborhoods clean.

Please dispose of unaccepted items separately by visiting 🗑sandiego.gov/environmental-services/recycling

It’s May! University City Community Association (UCCA)’s University City News May 2026 PDF newsletter is here!

Print copies are expected to be available for pickup at public spaces on Governor Drive (at the UC Laundromat, Standley Recreation Center, Cal Coast Credit Union) as early as Friday afternoon; for sure this weekend. Print copies are also available at the North University Library on Judicial and at Nobel and Doyle Recreation Center. 

UCCA’s delivery volunteers will begin distribution this weekend.

Here are your Save the Date event highlights for May.
