From the San Diego County Fire Safe Council: The Fire Safe Council of San Diego County, in partnership with the United States Wildland Fire Service, is hosting a virtual workshop, Tales Of Survival, an Intel to Action Workshop focusing on key topics and modules from the SD County FSC Last Chance Survival Workshop
The first session in the Virtual Series will take place via Zoom on July 14th at 6:00pm. During this 60-minute virtual session, learn from “Tales of Wildfire Survival”, and gain the resources and intelligence to inform your own future decisions around wildfire evacuation.
This workshop is hosted by the Fire Safe Council of San Diego County in partnership with the Resource Conservation District of Greater San Diego County, and instructed by Rex Hambly with the United States Wildland Fire Service. Funding for this project was provided by a grant from the California Department of Forestry & Fire Protection as a part of the California Climate Investments Program, through the California Fire Safe Council’s County Coordinator Grant Program.
