Share

Bernstein & Lightner & LippeAt the Holiday Tree Lighting, San Diego City Council president Sherri Lightener proclaimed December 12 as ‘Sandy Lippe Day’. Sandy is a past president of Standley Park Recreation Council and UCCA. She has been an organizing advocate for the SD public library on Governor and many community beautification projects, in particular the recent establishment of the Beter Burch Memorial Fountain at Marcy Park. Other accommplishments include writing for and chairing the UCCA newsletter committee and serving as liasion with city officials and Scripps Health for support of many UCCA-sponsored community projects. UCCA will miss her knowledge, kindness and ‘getting things don’ for the UC community. We know she’ll stay involved with important issues affecting UC as shenow plans to devote more time to her family and church. Congratulations and thank you to Sandy Lippe, UCCA’s and University City’s ‘super volunteer’. You’re the greatest!
