Gillespie Field hosts Military Firefighting Helicopters to Help Fight the #ValleyFire

CAL Fire announced on Monday, September 7, 2020, that it will exercise an agreement it has with the Navy’s Third Fleet and the First Marine Expeditionary Force. Military aircraft will be used to help fight the Valley Fire. County of San Diego Communications Office is reporting that the County of San Diego is hosting military firefighting helicopters at Gillespie Field to help fight the Valley Fire.
