Ballots were mailed to all registered voters beginning the week of October 5, 2020. This gives voters nearly a month to mark their ballot and return it before Election Day. After you have clearly marked your ballot, signed and dated the return envelope and sealed your voted ballot in the postage paid return envelope, here are the options for returning your mail ballot:
Today! Return it by US Mail: Mail your ballot promptly using the U.S. Postal Service so it is received well before Election Day. No extra postage needed.
Mail Ballot Drop-Off Locations in University City (92122) are open Monday through Saturday 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. On Election Day, Tuesday November 3, hours for dropping off completed mail ballots are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

- University Community Library at 4155 Governor Drive
Vote in person at Registrar of Voters Office in Kearney Mesa, Registrar of Voters Office at 5600 Overland Avenue, San Diego, CA, 92123. Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Opening Saturday, October 31! Super Poll Locations will be open beginning Saturday, October 31. In University City (92122), open Saturday, October 31 through Monday, November 2, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All will again be open on Election Day, November 3, when the voting hours change to 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
