Courtesy of Temple Beth Israel: Temple Beth Israel (TBI) will host its 13th Annual San Diego Interfaith Community Event honoring MLK Jr. Day on Monday, January 18 @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am. This free program is open to all and will be conducted using Zoom video conferencing technology. This remarkable virtual event will bring together people of different faiths and cultural backgrounds for a wonderful morning of community building, education, and camaraderie. As a community, we will learn from members of the Environmental and Climate Justice Committee (ECJ) with NAACP San Diego and NAACP North San Diego County.

This esteemed panel will weave together the importance of the intersection between Martin Luther King’s mission of justice and the impact of environmental and climate justice on a local and city-wide scale today. This event is made possible by the following partners: Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (San Diego), Congregation Beth Israel, Episcopal Diocese of San Diego, First Unitarian Universalist Church, First United Methodist Church, Islamic Center of San Diego, Temple Emanu El, Tifereth Israel.
