Construction resumes on Gullstrand south of Governor in University City near former Town Park Villas Golf Course

If you live in the University City area of Governor Drive east of Genesee, then you probably already know that construction as resumed in the area of the former Town Park villas Golf Course on Gullstrand south of Governor to demolish the old 1960s buildings on the east side an Gullstrand and to build new two and three story apartments similar to what exists today on Governor and Gullstrand.

Construction has resumed at the Avia La Jolla project of Gullstrand St south of Governor. There is an active “Grading and Right of Way Permit for public improvements and grading for a multi family housing development. Work to include water service connection, new drive way, adding and removing trees, relocating existing driveways, relocating street lights.” Reference: https://opendsd.sandiego.gov/Web/Approvals/Details/2332769

The property owner / construction company is building two and three story apartment buildings on the east side of Gullstrand. Here is some background info and a link to get more information from Development Services:
