From University Community Planning Group (UCPG) Chair Chris Nielsen: I’ve attached the agenda for the UCPG meeting for July 8, 2025. This will be a hybrid meeting, in person and on Zoom. Zoom instructions are to be found on the agenda and at the end of this post. The June minutes should be available for review before Tuesday night’s meeting.

Agenda highlight include:
- Item 6: Pure Water Construction – We have a presentation by Pure Water that will focus on the intersection at Genesee and Nobel.
- Item 8: Seritage Corp – Peter Spencer, Curzon Co. and representing Seritage Corp, will present a revised subdivision map for the eastern third of UTC that Seritage owns as an action item. - Item 9: UCSD Safe Sleeping – Emma Johnson gave a public comment on a safe sleeping facility proposed for an area on the UC San Diego campus at the March 2025 UCPG meeting. She returns tonight with a follow up action item requesting the UCPG send a letter of support to UC San Diego for this proposal. This proposal is not sponsored or endorsed by UC San Diego. - Item 10: CIP List – It’s time to revise the UCPG Capital Improvement Project list, due on July 31. The current UCPG list is attached. Although the city does not recognize a ranking order for CIP surveys, we find it useful to have the list ranked.
