UCCA’s Senior Watch program presents an introduction to Tai Chi and Qigong in a fun and relaxed atmosphere on Sunday, January 11, 2026, 11 am, outdoors at Standley Park.
Tai Chi has many benefits including physical strengthening, balance and mental calm. It can be achieved through stretching, moving form, and breathing exercises (qi-vital energy).
Senior Watch Committee member and UC resident Maria Tong will lead the introduction. Chair exercise options are available. Attendees should wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes for balance. Those who need a chair should bring their own.
