From the Friends of the University Community Library: We have exciting news! Renovations are complete on our University Community Branch Library at 4155 Governor Drive. It will be reopening this Friday, June 5 at 9:30 am.
- Book Sale: To mark the occasion, the Friends of the Library will be holding a book sale outside. All books/media will be “Fill A Bag” for $3 (nice canvas bags are being provided while they last). Puzzles will be sold separately for $3 each, beautiful handmade bookmarks for $5 each, and there will be a number of 6 ft folding tables available for $25 each.
- Opening Day Ceremony: At 2:00 pm, there will be a special ceremony in the Community Room welcoming UC residents and neighbors back to our local library. Refreshments will be served.
