Interested in running for office? UCCA is holding an election in November

Local Election 2015UCCA will be electing its officers for the 2016 calendar year at its November 11 meeting. Positions to be voted upon are President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer.

The candidates’ names will be published in our November newsletter. Nominations from the floor will be accepted at the election meeting also.

In order to run for office, you must be a UCCA member in good standing and have attended at least two UCCA meetings during this calendar year. You may review UCCA’s bylaws, which contain information about the election process, at http://www.universitycitynews.org/ucca-about-us/.

Note: In order to vote in November’s election, you must be a member of UCCA. Join today and your membership will be valid through the end of 2016. The October UCCA meeting is Wednesday, October 14, at 6 PM at the Community Library on Governor Drive. The November UCCA election meeting is November 11. All are welcome.
