Was Roundup used in the cleanup of the Genesee, Regents and Governor Medians?

In June, UCCA sponsored a median cleanup of Regents Road and Genesee Avenue between the 52 and Governor Drive. Don Hotz, UCCA’s treasurer, wrote about it in the July newsletter. In response to his article, UCCA received a note from an anonymous reader with a timely and important question:

A: Courtesy of Don Hotz: No Roundup or chemicals of any kind were used in the UCCA-sponsored cleanup of medians on Regents, Governor and Genesee in University City … as evidenced by the rapid return of the weeds 🙁
