SD Fire-Rescue Station 35 Crews are Ready for Fire Season

As posted on Facebook @SDFDofficial: Here is the C division crew at SDFD Station 35 (University City area) stocking their strike team bags and making sure equipment is in tip-top shape. They are also training by hiking in brush gear with their hand tools in a hand-crew formation. These activities ensure they are physically fit, familiar with the open space areas in their district and well-versed in wildland fire safety procedures.

Preparedness is a shared responsibility – we are ready, are you? For information on how to be ready for any type of emergency, please visit https://www.sandiego.gov/fire/safety and download our Ready, Set, Go! guide. It’s available in English and Spanish and includes valuable tips and checklists.
