Construction Update: Full Closure of Regents Road (north) between Health Sciences and Genesee

From Shift San Diego: Beginning Sunday, December 20 at 8 p.m. through Tuesday, December 22, a full closure of Regents Road will be in place between Genesee Avenue and Health Sciences Drive. Crews will demolish the roadway and pour concrete to remove and replace a cross gutter. Cross gutters are installed at the intersection of two roadways to help maintain drainage.

This project includes:

  • Full closure of northbound and southbound lanes on Regents Road between Genesee Avenue and Health Sciences Drive
  • Lane reductions will be in place on northbound Regents Road between Executive Drive and Health Sciences Drive; through traffic access will be maintained
  • Work and closure hours will be from 8 p.m. on Sunday through 1 p.m. on Tuesday
  • Detour routes and signage will be in place; please heed all traffic signs and use caution when traveling near the work area
