Hello University City! 🎃 It’s October and a touch of fall is in the air. We’re all looking forward to Halloween Happenings and the last days of Daylight Saving Time. And that’s not all the “new news”!

  • There are 😀three Halloween events this month, one at each of our University City Recreation Centers.
  • We are welcoming a 📚 new Library Manager at the North University Community Library; and at the Library on Governor, renovations are underway.
  • UCCA’s Senor Watch is sponsoring 🤣Laughter Is Medicine at the end of the month.
  • Council District 6 is sponsoring an 💽 e-waste disposal  at the end of the month at UCHS.

  • 🎃Friday, October 24, at 5 PM, it’s Halloween and a Movie at Standley Park. Details are in the October News.
  • Saturday, October 25, from 9 AM to 12 noon, it’s E-Waste Disposal sponsored by Council District 6 at UCHS. Details are in the October News.
  • Saturday, October 25, at 2 PM, it’s Senior Watch: Laugher is Medicine at Cal Coast Credit Union. Details are in the October News.
  • 🎃Wednesday, October 29, 12 noon, Halloween Party and Crafts at Doyle Park. Details are in the October News.
  • Tuesday, November 18, at 5:30 PM, UCCA will host an in-person meeting at Standley Recreation Center. Details are in the October News.
