It’s a double header weekend at Standley Park, 3585 Governor Drive. Let’s get out there!
- Saturday, August 1, from 12 noon to 2 pm – Standley Recreation Center and the Parks Council host the annual Banana Split Ice Cream Social. Jemma Samala, UCCA’s president, will be there with free bananas (while supplies last).
- Sunday, August 2, from 5 to 7 pm – Local favorites The Distractions will feature Classic Rock on the Standley Summer Concert Stage. Bring your dancing shoes, your chairs, and your picnic dinners.
