Hello University City! Happy Veterans Day and thank you to all who serve. If you haven’t had a chance, this is a good time to check out and read the November University City News. This month features several profiles of University City veterans and University City’s miliary history. The planning group will meet on Tuesday and will have a brief update on Irvine Company’s plans to add apartment homes to its property on the east side of Genesee between La Jolla Village Drive and Executive; the Fire Safe Council and Senior Watch host a meet-up on Saturday; and UCCA hosts a meet-up on Tuesday, November 18, at 5:30 PM.

The Water and Sewer Replacement project continues on Governor. UCCA will have updated information at the November 18 community meeting at the Recreation Center. Meanwhile, take a look at: Construction Alert: Governor Drive Water and Sewer Main Replacements


The UCPG Planning Group meets on Tuesday and will hear an update about the Irvine Company’s plans for their property on Genesee. Details at: Tue, Nov 11, 6PM: UCPG Planning Group meets in hybrid format with Zoom option at 6 PM


Senior Watch and Fire Safe Council team up on Saturday; details at: Sat, Nov 15: Fire Safety at Home at 2 PM
